our story …

Hey, I’m Kendy.

My passion for making miniatures came about in March 2016 when my daughter had moved to the city to study at University. I pulled out her dollhouse from the shed, that my husband made 18 years earlier, with full intentions to paint and decorate it.

I started my Instagram account and the first piece of furniture that I had made and posted was a pic of a little pallet bed. It set the whole vibe for the miniatures I went onto create for my daughter’s dollhouse. I was contacted by several people wanting me to make a little pallet bed for their own dollhouse so MiniHomeCo really started because of my Instagram followers. I grew my range and started my Etsy store in October that year.

Five years on, with over 16,000 sales on Etsy, I have decided to move to my very own big girl website. I hope you enjoy looking through my range of dollhouse miniatures … relaxed coastal / boho, handmade and handpicked pieces.

And in case you were wondering, my daughter’s dollhouse still isn’t finished.
